Engineering Services Based BREEAM Assessor

We are seeking to make a strategic and key appointment to support the growth of our business.

The ideal candidate would be a qualified & licensed BREEAM assessor with additional skills in relation to engineering services design in the filed of either Mechanical (HVAC) or Electrical Building Services.

The candidate should ideally be licensed or trained in all the standard BREEAM family assessment schemes and also be experienced in delivering Bespoke assessments.

The candidate will be responsible for a wide-ranging and diverse workload, within all market sectors, therefore a track record of experience is essential.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or HNC/D in relevant subject.
• Building services software packages – HevaComp or CYMAP, AutoCad, CIBSE/BSRIA Design Codes.
• BREEAM Suite of Documents and Software Packages

The position offers a competitive salary package, this being negotiable subject to the level of experience.

Mechanical Design / Low Carbon Consultant

To further support the mechanical engineering services team, a vacancy is available for the position of a qualified Mechanical Services Design engineer with experience and accredited Part L Assessor, Energy Performance and Display Energy Certification Assessor.

The candidate must be trained to deliver up to all levels of certification (level 5) and ideally should also be qualified or working towards accreditation to the CIBSE Air Conditioning Inspectorate scheme.

The candidate must be experienced and competent as they will be responsible for a wide-ranging and diverse workload, within all market sectors, therefore a track record of experience is essential.

• Building services software packages – HevaComp or CYMAP, IES / Tas, ORCALC, AutoCad, CIBSE/BSRIA Design Codes.

Mechanical Estimating Engineer

The role involves working on projects within the commercial, industrial, health and retail sectors valued between £200k and £10m.

Ideally you possess the following skills:

• Can successfully obtain the tender price from suppliers, wholesaler and subcontractors.
• Able to visit site and interpret drawings to clarify what is required and assist in establishing the best cost effective solution.
• Demonstrate an ability to develop options which differentiates the clients tender from the competition.
• Liaise internally to determine who are more favorable companies to approach for prices and performance.
• Participate in handover of successful bids to delivery team.
• Undertake technical appraisals
• Ability to present information in a coherent and appropriate manner.
• Demonstrates a logical and numerate approach
• Able to demonstrate good communication and negotiating skills
• Varied experience of installation methods
• Able to work to and achieve strict deadlines.

Electrical Design Engineer

As an experienced Electrical design engineer you will be responsible for a range of projects from feasibility to construction working within a variety of commercial and industry sectors.

You will be required to deliver cost effective design solutions using the latest technology to deliver commercially viable installations.

You will be responsible for:

• Feasibility studies and building surveys. /li>
• Preparing specifications/equipment schedules/drawing and information, installation proposes.
• Attend design team meetings and project meetings on behalf of the company.
• Report writing
• Commissioning of electrical services and site supervision
• Full electrical services design and integration

Qualifications & Experience

• Building services software packages – Hevacomp or CYMAP, MS Project, CIBSE/BSRIA Design Codes.
