The ideal candidate would be a qualified & licensed BREEAM assessor with additional skills in relation to engineering services design in the filed of either Mechanical (HVAC) or Electrical Building Services.
The candidate should ideally be licensed or trained in all the standard BREEAM family assessment schemes and also be experienced in delivering Bespoke assessments.
The candidate will be responsible for a wide-ranging and diverse workload, within all market sectors, therefore a track record of experience is essential.

To further support the mechanical engineering services team, a vacancy is available for the position of a qualified Mechanical Services Design engineer with experience and accredited Part L Assessor, Energy Performance and Display Energy Certification Assessor.
The candidate must be trained to deliver up to all levels of certification (level 5) and ideally should also be qualified or working towards accreditation to the CIBSE Air Conditioning Inspectorate scheme.
The candidate must be experienced and competent as they will be responsible for a wide-ranging and diverse workload, within all market sectors, therefore a track record of experience is essential.
The role involves working on projects within the commercial, industrial, health and retail sectors valued between £200k and £10m.

As an experienced Electrical design engineer you will be responsible for a range of projects from feasibility to construction working within a variety of commercial and industry sectors.
You will be required to deliver cost effective design solutions using the latest technology to deliver commercially viable installations.
To further support the Environmental Engineering Services team, a vacancy is available for the position of a Mechanical Services Design Engineer. The role requires the candidate to demonstrate a solid foundation and experience in delivering HVAC designs within all market sectors and project sizes.
The candidate should also have a detailed understanding of energy related design issues, understand and be versed in natural ventilation design principles, have experience and skills in developing sustainability / renewable design strategies.
The candidate should also have a full understand the current requirements of the Building Regulations Part L and preferable hold a relevant accreditation on the Low Carbon Accredited schemes, with current accreditation to provide Part L compliance calculations, Energy Performance and Display Energy Certificates.
The candidate must be well presented, articulate and be able to communicate at all levels, including direct to clients.
The candidate must be a team player, but should also be self motivated and able to manage their own workload without continued supervision, as they will be responsible for a wide-ranging and diverse workload, which will require a level of initial integration within the existing team and projects.
The candidate would preferable have experience of working within Design and Build Contracting Organisation/s along with experience of Private Practice.

The role requires the candidate to demonstrate an understanding at a minimum level of First Year HNC HVAC design and the ability to demonstrate software usage for the sizing of all HVCA systems.
The candidate should also have an understanding of energy related design issues, understand and natural ventilation design principles understand sustainability / renewable design solutions, be conversant with the current requirements of Part L of the Building regulations.
The candidate would preferably hold or be working towards a relevant accreditation on the Low Carbon Accredited schemes, with ability to provide Part L compliance calculations, Energy Performance and Display Energy Certificates.
